
Michael Bellucci
Biography
Michael Bellucci is a Residential Addictions Support Worker at Freeport Recovery who brings both professional training and lived experience to his role. In long-term recovery himself, Michael has maintained continuous sobriety since 2019, which deeply informs his compassionate, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach to supporting individuals navigating substance use challenges.
After beginning his recovery journey, he pursued post-secondary education and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Brock University, with focused coursework in psychology, criminal justice, public policy, sociology, and health sciences. Michael is currently working toward his Canadian Certified Peer Support Specialist (CCPSS) and Canadian Certified Recovery Coach (CCRC) designations through CACCF, further strengthening his commitment to ethical, evidence-informed, and recovery-oriented practice.
